Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
MyCarrierPlans.com is operated by Qualifire Media LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Qualifire," "we," "us," or "our"). We provide an auto insurance comparison and referral service. This Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit MyCarrierPlans.com, request insurance information, click on an offer, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services.
Our service
We connect consumers with participating insurance carriers, agencies, brokers, and other businesses that may respond to an auto insurance inquiry. We receive compensation for leads, clicks, calls, or other qualifying referrals. MyCarrierPlans.com does not act as a licensed insurance agency or broker, issue insurance policies, set premiums, make underwriting decisions, or guarantee coverage or savings. We are not affiliated with a government agency.
Information we may collect
The information we collect depends on the form you complete and how you use the service. Categories include:
- Identifiers and contact information: name, email address, telephone number, postal address, ZIP code, IP address, and browser or device identifiers.
- Insurance inquiry information: vehicle details, driver and household information, driving and insurance history, current coverage, coverage preferences, and other information you choose to provide in an auto insurance inquiry.
- Internet activity and approximate location: pages viewed, clicks, referral sources, campaign events, timestamps, browser and device details, and approximate location inferred from IP address.
- Communications and consent records: inquiries, emails, communications with us, form submission records, and evidence of the disclosures and choices presented to you. If calls are recorded, recording is subject to the notice and consent required by applicable law.
- Business contact information: company name, job title, contact details, and communications from business partners or prospective partners.
We receive information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, and from participating partners and service providers in connection with referrals, verification, and campaign measurement. Please do not email Social Security numbers, payment credentials, medical records, or copies of identity documents. Any additional collection of sensitive personal information is subject to the applicable collection notice and legally required consent.
How we use information
We use information to provide and route your insurance inquiry, match it with participating businesses, measure referrals and campaign performance, respond to communications, improve our services, verify submissions and consent, prevent fraud, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Where permitted by law and subject to your choices, we may also use information for marketing and advertising.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to the following recipients:
- Participating insurance businesses and lead buyers: contact details and insurance inquiry information to help respond to your request. A submitted lead form is intended for delivery to one lead buyer. Separate click referrals may involve up to three participating buyers, and a separately requested call connection may involve a call buyer. The disclosures and consent shown in the relevant experience apply to these interactions.
- Service providers: information reasonably needed to provide hosting, lead distribution, communications, consent verification, analytics, security, customer support, and professional services. These providers receive information subject to applicable contractual restrictions.
- Marketing and measurement partners: device identifiers, internet activity, referral details, and other information relevant to attribution, campaign measurement, or advertising, subject to applicable privacy choices.
- Legal and business recipients: information reasonably necessary to respond to lawful process, comply with law, investigate fraud, protect rights and safety, or evaluate or complete a merger, financing, or transfer of business assets.
Paid lead referrals may qualify as a sale of personal information under state privacy laws. Disclosures of device identifiers or internet activity for cross-context behavioral advertising may qualify as sharing or targeted advertising. The categories potentially involved are identifiers, contact information, insurance inquiry information, internet activity, and approximate location.
Independent insurance businesses have their own privacy policies and are responsible for their own products and information practices. We remain responsible for our own disclosures and any obligations imposed on us by law.
Cookies and other browser technologies
Our website may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for security, basic functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. Information processed through them may include identifiers, pages visited, clicks, and referral details. Our Consent Preferences page explains how to contact us about your choices. An email request does not automatically change cookies already stored in your browser or block a third party's browser technology. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some site features may be affected.
Where applicable law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, that requirement applies independently of our email request process. Browser settings and signals are separate from consent to receive calls, texts, or email.
Calls, texts, and email
A visit to this website or acceptance of this Policy does not itself grant consent to automated marketing calls or texts. Where required, consent is requested through a separate disclosure and affirmative action in the relevant form. That disclosure identifies the businesses authorized to contact you and explains that consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
To stop Qualifire marketing emails, use the unsubscribe instructions in the message or email legal@qualifiremedia.com. If you receive marketing texts from us, reply STOP or contact us. You may revoke applicable calling or texting consent through a reasonable method allowed by law. Independent businesses may maintain their own contact lists; contact the business that sent the communication to manage its communications directly. Revoking contact consent and opting out of sale or sharing are separate choices.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. For contact and inquiry records, we consider fulfillment, support, partner reconciliation, and dispute needs. For consent evidence and communications, we consider applicable recordkeeping requirements and the need to establish or defend legal claims. For suppression records, we retain the minimum information reasonably needed to honor your choices. Technical and campaign records are retained according to operational, security, and measurement needs. Information subject to a legal preservation obligation may be kept longer; otherwise, we delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably needed.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information. No system or transmission method is completely secure.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights to access information, obtain a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, learn about certain recipients, opt out of sale or sharing and targeted advertising, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. We do not use the referral service to make insurance underwriting or eligibility decisions. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Send a request to legal@qualifiremedia.com. Use "Data Request" for access, correction, or deletion; "Do Not Sell or Share" for a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising opt-out; "Limit Sensitive Information" for an applicable limitation request; and "Privacy Appeal" to appeal a decision. Your request does not need a particular subject line to be valid. Include only information reasonably needed to identify the relevant records, such as the email address or telephone number used with us. Do not send sensitive identity documents by ordinary email.
We may verify identity before providing, correcting, or deleting information, using proportionate steps. We do not require an account or identity verification for a sale or sharing opt-out, but may need information to locate the records to which the request should apply. An authorized agent may act for you, subject to appropriate proof of authority where required by law.
We respond within the time required by applicable law. For California requests subject to the CCPA, we acknowledge access, correction, and deletion requests within 10 business days and generally respond within 45 calendar days; a permitted extension will be explained. California sale or sharing opt-outs and applicable sensitive-information limitation requests are processed as soon as feasibly possible, no later than 15 business days. Other states may require different periods. If a request is denied, we explain the reason and applicable appeal or regulator complaint options. Legal, security, and other statutory exceptions may limit deletion or other requests.
Children and third-party sites
Our service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or sell or share information of consumers we know are under 16. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information. Third-party websites linked from our service have their own terms and privacy notices.
Updates and contact
We may update this Policy by posting a revised date. We provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
